Mellony aims to make prints that are beautiful. This is what brings her joy. Her very detailed style, although unusual for linocut, is known for its bold, graphic qualities, which combine a strong, monochromatic look with a lighter touch of delicate carving.
She loves the time she can spend at her art table at home, whether designing, tracing, carving, inking up or pressing and pulling a print, every stage of the process is a wonder to her.
